Good Name Tarnished, Syahrini Reports the Spread of Alleged Pornographic Video Resembling Herself

Kapanlagi.com - Syahrini apparently does not stay silent regarding the circulation of a pornographic video that is said to resemble her circulating on social media. Through her legal representative, Syahrini filed a police report on May 12, 2020, with the number TBL/2779/V/YAN 2.5/2020/SPKT.PMJ.

In the report, Syahrini's legal representative with the initials DS reported the crime of pornography and/or defamation through social media. The report also mentions Syahrini's name as the victim and two witnesses, Rhein and Aisyah Zailani.

"I am informing about a police report filed by a public figure with the initials S. It is true that on May 12, 2020, someone with the initials DS, who works as a lawyer, filed a police report to the Metro Jaya Regional Police, reporting their client S for defamation and pornography through social media or electronic media," said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Regional Police Yusri Yunus on Wednesday (27/5/2020).

1. Defamation of Good Name

Furthermore, Yusri revealed that the report is related to the circulation of an indecent video that is said to resemble Syahrini. Yusri also explained that the circulation of the video has tarnished Syahrini's good name.

"This DS report contains allegations that his client S (Syahrini) is suspected of having her name defamed regarding pornographic content on social media by someone through the Instagram account @danunyinyir99," he added.

The articles included to prosecute the defendant are Article 27 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45 and/or Article 27 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (3) of the Indonesian Law Number 19 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) and Article 4 paragraph (1) of the Indonesian Law Number 44 Year 2008 concerning Pornography and/or Article 310 of the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP) and/or Article 311 of the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP).

It should be noted that the public was shocked by the circulation of a pornographic video that was allegedly similar to Syahrini on the social media platform Twitter. The pornographic video was also uploaded by the Instagram account @danunyinyir99's. "Hope it's not tini but a woman who looks similar," wrote the account @danunyinyir99's.

Many netizens believe that the woman in the video is indeed Syahrini. Before the video circulated, netizens were also shocked by the confession of a foreign man named Laurens who claimed to be Syahrini's foster father.
