The live action Look Back film will be directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, a director known for his works and who has received many awards. Some of his notable works include Monster (2023), Nobody Knows (2004), and Shoplifters (2018). Koreeda is also responsible for editing and writing the screenplay. The music and soundtrack will be handled by renowned composer Yuta Bando, who has previously worked on the projects BELLE and Kaiju No. 8.
