In accordance with its title, the film DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA - INFINITY CASTLE will adapt the storyline of Infinity Castle from the manga version. This arc tells the story of the struggle of the Hashira and the Demon Slayers against Muzan in the demons' fortress, Infinity Castle.

However, Muzan is not the only enemy that Tanjiro Kamado and his friends will face. Akaza, the Upper Moon demon who previously killed Hashira Rengoku, must also be confronted by them. He apparently is still able to survive and hide in the demons' fortress.
