Grand Final of Voice of Ramadan Forced to be Repeated Because Contestants Forgot Lyrics, 'Infected' by Iis Dahlia?

Kapanlagi.com - The incident of Iis Dahlia's 'wrong lyrics' when singing Ramadan Tiba some time ago went viral and became the talk of the town. Interestingly, the mistake made by Iis seemed to have infected and was also done by several other singers, such as Opick who is the original singer of the song Ramadan Tiba.

Here's the story, Opick slipped his tongue when singing the original lyrics of the song when invited as a guest star on the program Voice of Ramadan GTV last week. Not only that, on the night of the Grand Final of Voice of Ramadan held on Friday (7/5) yesterday, several grand finalists also seemed to forget the lyrics when performing.

As a result, the judges consisting of Iis Dahlia, Pasha Ungu, Sulis, and Ustaz Erick Yusuf agreed to postpone the announcement of the winner and repeat the Grand Final of Voice of Ramadan, which will be held again today, Monday (10/5) at 15.00 WIB.

1. Risking the Credibility of Voice of Ramadan

Iis also spoke out about this incident. According to her, she and the other judges wanted to give a perfect ending in the Voice of Ramadan event. Iis hopes that the grand finalists will be motivated not to repeat similar mistakes.

"Our credibility, the credibility of Voice of Ramadan is at stake. Hopefully, it won't be an additional burden for the participants. Hopefully, this incident will serve as a wake-up call so that they can sing well. At least, sing the song correctly. I don't understand, even though they were amazing during the Battle round," said Iis Dahlia firmly (07/05/21).

2. Give Concessions to Participants?

The judges are also willing to give concessions to the remaining 4 grand finalists so that they can perform their best in the future.

"Hopefully, the four of them can show their best, compete in a healthy manner. Just relax, maybe we will give them the option to choose a song that they are familiar with to be sung. So, we want to see them sing like a concert, like they did during the Battle round," concluded Iis (07/05/21).
