Gritte explained how broken her heart was seeing her daughter, Agatha, who was not even a year old, needing an infusion, having her blood taken, being swabbed, and given medication through her rectum. "As a new mother, I often make decisions based on data and information. Until I forget, there is one thing I also have to believe: a mother's instinct," she wrote.

Gritte shared that Agatha had a few colds since September. She only checked her daughter's temperature with an ear thermometer, which showed normal results. Then, on the night when Agatha had a seizure, Gritte already felt uneasy and decided to sleep next to her daughter.

Moments after the first rescue, Gritte and her husband, Arif Hidayat, immediately took Agatha to the hospital and received prompt care. On the second day, it was found that Agatha had contracted rhinovirus, which often causes colds in humans.

Gritte and Arif are grateful that Agatha is being treated by a very patient and diligent pediatrician. During her time in the hospital, Agatha had to undergo physical therapy and was attended to by an ENT doctor and a pediatric neurologist, which made her mother's heart feel mixed.

While in the hospital, Agatha didn't want to be with anyone else and just wanted to stick to her, making Gritte feel guilty. But she is grateful for her husband who always supports Gritte and is sincere about all of this.

After four days, Agatha was finally allowed to go home but must still be closely monitored and cannot go to crowded places yet. Gritte also understands now that she needs to prepare a new thermometer, have medicine ready, and insure her child.

Gritte also realizes that it's okay not to be perfect, what matters is always being there for the child. "For all the mothers who are learning to be their best version, take it slow, it's okay." Wishing a speedy recovery for Agatha, stay strong Gritte and Arif.
