Guaranteed Fun, Faris Nahdi and Kaneishia Yusuf as Main Casts in Web Series "Percaya Ini Cinta"

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully presenting "Percaya Ini Rindu" in 2020, which was watched by more than three million viewers on YouTube, BRI Life is back with a web series titled "Percaya Ini Rindu". Just like before, "Percaya Ini Cinta" will be aired on BRI Life's YouTube channel starting from June 17, 2022.

BRI Life's CEO, Sutadi, explained that the web series "Percaya Ini Cinta" is one of BRI Life's efforts to raise awareness of insurance among millennials, especially Gen Z, through digital platforms.

"That's what made us decide to make the second edition of the web series, because approaching through web series like this can increase the emotional value between BRI Life and the audience," said Sutadi at BRI Life's office in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (16/6/2022).

"Percaya Ini Cinta" tells the story of a writer named Jessica, played by Kaneishia Yusuf, whose life is full of problems. By coincidence, Jessica meets an insurance agent named Natta, played by Faris Nahdi. However, Natta's presence only makes Jessica's days more chaotic.

"Jessica is a new writer who has just lost her mother, so she deals with life insurance. Her mother was the one who took care of it from home with her sister until they sold their house," said Kaneishia Yusuf.

"So Jessica is struggling with life, she's struggling. Finally, she meets Nata, who turns out to be an insurance agent, and she falls in love with him because there are many conflicts there," added Kaneishia Yusuf.

Faris Nahdi, who played the role of an insurance agent, added that it wasn't too difficult to portray the character of Natta. So, how did Faris Nahdi prepare for the role of Natta?

"It's not that hard, we just look at the references we have, there are many digital footprints. We're not hard-selling like in real life, we don't tell everything there. What we build here is what we learn from our past, so the most valuable thing for us is what we are asked to do ourselves," said Faris Nahdi.

What makes the web series "Percaya Ini Cinta" even more exciting is the presence of a boss played by singer Sandy Canester. The singer of the song "Sabtu Minggu" was involved in this series because of pressure from the director of BRI Life.

"Besides filling the soundtrack, I didn't want to act at first, but because many people forced me to, and the director and commissioner said 'you have to act'. Finally, what suited me was to become Jessica's boss, she is a writer and I became her kind-hearted and relaxed boss who challenges Jessica to write," said Sandy Canester.

The web series "Percaya Ini Cinta" is directed by Anggun P. Marlien and starred by famous actors and actresses such as Kaneishia Yusuf, Faris Nahdi, Tria Nitrasari, Rama Djarot, and Sandi Canester.

The storyline is rich with the romance of young people's lives, wrapped in literacy and education about the importance of long-term financial planning and the importance of insurance as protection that may be needed at any time.

"In addition to aiming to educate the public, especially the millennial segment, this web series is also a manifestation of BRI Life's active role in supporting financial education and literacy programs for the community as outlined by the Financial Services Authority (OJK)," said Life Iwan Pasila, CEO of BRI.
