Gunawan Becomes a Businessman Who Falls in Love with His Secretary in His 50th Soap Opera 'Princess Crown'

Kapanlagi.com - Senior actor, Gunawan, is involved in the latest soap opera titled Putri Mahkota. Playing the role of a wealthy businessman named Hanif, who has a daughter named Rania played by the beautiful actress Sylvia Fully.

"But my relationship with Rania is not harmonious because of past tragedies. Hanif is trying to accept Rania's anger, and I finally marry a girl who turns out to be Rania's friend," said Gunawan at Persari Studio, South Jakarta, Thursday (16/1/2020).

1. The 50th Soap Opera

According to Gunawan, Putri Mahkota is the 50th soap opera title during his career in the entertainment industry. Clearly, Gunawan feels many differences when shooting stripping in the past and now. Even back then, before shooting, Gunawan and other actors had discussions with the director.

"This is the 50th soap opera, it's different from now, the preparation back then was more mature. Everything was longer and the script was more thought out. Before shooting, there were discussions, conversations with the director and actors, there was reading time. Nowadays, it's too fast, back then it was too idealistic," said Gunawan.

2. Longing for a Long Time

However, Gunawan realizes that shooting nowadays needs to be fast and able to achieve the target. Nevertheless, he feels comfortable filming the soap opera Putri Mahkota. Moreover, here he found a fairly solid team.

"Nowadays, the industry requires us to follow what is there, we have to follow. Alhamdulillah, the whole team is solid, I feel comfortable at the moment, hopefully it will be long, at least 1000 episodes," he said.

3. Synopsis of Putri Mahkota

The soap opera Putri Mahkota airs at 6:00 PM every Monday to Sunday on ANTV. Besides Gunawan, several famous actors and actresses are involved in this soap opera. They are Rama Michael, Mayang Yudhitia, and many other actors and actresses.

Putri Mahkota tells the story of the return of a former lover and the complexity of love story as well as the love competition that occurs in the life of Aruna (Mayang Yudhitia), a beautiful 23-year-old girl who works as Hanif's (Gunawan) secretary, who is also the owner of the company.

Aruna loves her boyfriend, Irghi (Rama Michael), very much and has planned for their marriage. However, their dream of getting married fails because of the appearance of Rania (Sylvia Fully), Hanif's daughter who has just returned from America.

Rania, who turns out to be Irghi's ex-girlfriend, cannot accept seeing Irghi has found a new love interest, especially after knowing that the woman is Aruna. Rania does not like Aruna because her father trusts Aruna more for office matters.

4. Synopsis of Princess Crown

The failure of Aruna and Irghi's marriage makes Aruna hate Irghi. She does not know that Rania is the mastermind behind the failure. As a result of the failed marriage, Aruna's mother died of a heart attack. Aruna hates Irghi even more, and Rania takes this opportunity to approach Irghi again.

Aruna faces various trials, and in her lowest moments, Hanif stays by her side. As time goes by, Hanif invites Aruna to a more serious stage in their relationship.
