Gus Miftah Reveals Reasons Why Deddy Corbuzier, Raffi Ahmad, and Rizky Billar Cancelled Their Hajj Trip

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, Gus Miftah revealed that there was an invitation to perform the hajj pilgrimage this year. Therefore, he initially planned to bring some artists with the most followers to perform the hajj pilgrimage.

Some of the names he planned to bring to the holy land were Deddy Corbuzier, Raffi Ahmad, and Rizky Billar. However, Gus Miftah stated that Deddy Corbuzier cancelled his hajj trip.

Gus Miftah revealed the reason why his friend cancelled his hajj trip. Apparently, at that time, Deddy was too busy with his wedding preparations and was not psychologically ready.

"So, let's clarify this, Mas Deddy didn't agree from the beginning because he was still busy with his wedding preparations and other things. And, psychologically, he wasn't ready," said Gus Miftah when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night (28/6).

Apart from Deddy Corbuzier, two other names, Raffi Ahmad and Rizky Billar, also cancelled their Hajj trip because they had to manage their schedules. Therefore, Gus Miftah did not mind because Hajj is not for those who are capable, but for those who are called to do so.

"Then, there's Rizky and Raffi. Raffi said from the beginning, when the visa came out, he said, 'Bro, I can't go because I have to manage my schedule.' The same goes for Rizky Billar, he has to shoot an advertisement on the 12th," he said.

"Furthermore, there was still an issue with the visa. That's why, for me, Hajj is a calling. Allah doesn't call those who are capable, but Allah calls those who are called," he continued.

2. Deddy Corbuzier's Reason

Meanwhile, for Deddy Corbuzier himself, Gus Miftah understands his idealistic attitude because according to him, Deddy does not want his pilgrimage to be sponsored or paid for by someone else. Moreover, Gus Miftah understands that his friend is a perfectionist and does not want his religious affairs to be done half-heartedly.

"Mas Deddy is our idealistic friend. We were given two invitations, one of them was the furoda Hajj from one of the top travel agencies. He said, 'Bro, why should we bother people and get paid for it? If possible, let's pay for it ourselves.' We always guide him religiously, if this year we cannot go for Hajj together, please find time for us to do Umrah together. We know he is a perfectionist, let's not make his pilgrimage half-hearted," said Gus Miftah.

3. Raffi Invites for Next Year

As for Raffi Ahmad himself, he felt that he could not force himself to go on Hajj this year. Instead, Raffi invited Gus Miftah to go on Hajj next year if there are no obstacles.

"So, for Raffi, 'Bro, let's go next year. I'll pay for myself and my wife.' We can't force it this year. But, once again, Hajj cannot be forced because this is a call from Allah SWT. It's possible that Raffi won't go, and Rizky Billar is still hesitant. Everyone has their own busy schedules. I spoke to the Ambassador about the situation. We apologize," he concluded.
