Hamish Daud Furious, Officially Reports Several Social Media Accounts for Alleged Defamation

"Today I also brought a team from the company I used to work for to help explain the many accusations. Because of that, there is a negative impact on my name, my family, and my work as well," said Hamish Daud when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (18/7/2025).

This police report is made not just to clear his name, but also as a warning message. "So today it's time to file some police reports to set an example not to bring others down for content," said Hamish Daud.

In fact, Hamish has been keeping this issue to himself for quite some time and was reluctant to take it to the legal route. He explained that the accusations against him have been circulating since 2023, but he chose to ignore them because he felt the allegations were baseless.

"There are about 4-5 (that were reported). I also didn’t think of making a Police Report because I thought these slanderous news are from 2023. It’s not true, why bother with it," said Hamish.

However, his patience ran out when the negative news became increasingly wild and uncontrollable, severely damaging his image. "It’s just that over time it became confusing, so today I’m making a statement," said Hamish.

On the same occasion, Hamish also openly revealed several heinous slanders directed at him. "There are news claiming I used company money and didn’t pay employee salaries. Then there are also allegations of harassment, all the documents are here," he said.

"Since 2023, there has also been talk about open BO," he clarified, addressing the rumors that he was involved in online prostitution practices. "There is content created by content creators, there are articles, and I have never spoken up until now. So this is the time for me to make a statement to clear my name," concluded Hamish Daud.
