"In the beginning, it was because I didn't understand. It's also important sometimes that we don't understand, so we become brave because maybe my partner is not the type that has to be like this, this, this, because they are relaxed, so I ended up diving in. I initially experienced culture shock," said Happy Salma while being a guest on Rumpi: No Secret, seen on the Trans TV Official YouTube channel, Monday (23/12/2024).

Their wedding was held with a strong Balinese tradition, and at that moment Happy felt like part of a legendary story. She was surprised to see the large number of people involved in their wedding, with hundreds of guests coming bringing gifts and produce.

"It turns out that when we first got married, so many people were involved in our wedding activities, hundreds of people flocking in, giving gifts, then packages, like produce or whatever, I thought that only happened in stories from the past like Wiro Sableng," revealed Happy Salma.

"It's not just for people of high status, anyone who gets married will be involved in doing that. There’s a feeling of contribution, a sense of love, a bond of kinship. I thought it only existed in stories. Turns out I experienced that story," said Happy Salma, laughing.
