Having a History of Lung Disease, Beben Jazz's Condition Was Stable Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - Musician and former badminton athlete Beben Supendi Mulyana, or more popularly known as Beben Jazz, passed away on Monday morning (5/7/2021). Before taking his last breath, Beben underwent treatment in the ICU of Bhakti Kartini Bekasi Hospital after being exposed to Covid-19.

Beben's manager said that during several days in the hospital, the condition of Dik Doank's musician brother was stable. However, on Monday (5/7), Beben's condition dropped again.

"Uncle Beben was treated at Bhakti Kartini Bekasi Hospital from June 29, treated in the ICU for 5 days. He experienced a critical condition, then yesterday he started to stabilize, until this morning his condition dropped again and finally returned to the Divine at 6:20 am," said Ricky when contacted on Monday (5/7/2021).

1. History of Lung Disease

In addition to being exposed to Covid-19, Beben Jazz also has a history of lung disease. This was stated by Beben's younger brother, Dik Doank, when contacted by the media.

"He (Beben) passed away in Bekasi, he had a lung disease, maybe he passed away because of that, it's fate, maybe because of the pandemic, he was already being treated by the Almighty who takes care of him as best as possible," said Dik Doank.

2. Buried According to Covid Protocol

Beben Jazz was buried at TPU Pedurenan Bekasi according to the Covid-19 protocol. Therefore, Ricky asked friends not to attend Beben Jazz's funeral directly.

"Beben's funeral will be conducted with Covid protocol at TPU Pedurenan around 10 o'clock. Please pray from your respective homes, my brothers and sisters. God willing, I will try my best to capture the funeral of the late Kak Beben with a video or Live IG," said Ricky.

"It is better not to attend the funeral because the pandemic situation is currently very unfavorable. Please pray from your respective homes, my brothers and sisters," Ricky concluded.
