Having a Wealthy Husband, Nia Ramadhani Initially Did Not Ask for Help from Ardi Bakrie When Her Father Was Seriously Ill

Kapanlagi.com - Nia Ramadhani visited her late father's grave with her sister, Gita, some time ago. There, she told the story of the moments before her father passed away. 

It is also known from her sister's account that Nia Ramadhani's late father, Prya Ramadhani, passed away due to multiple myeloma cancer. 

"So, dad passed away because of cancer. It was blood cancer, if I'm not mistaken. Actually, it was blood cancer, but it attacked the bones, called multiple myeloma. Well, at first, dad noticed that his hands were a bit sore. Dad thought it was like rheumatism, because dad was already around 50 years old," said Gita, as quoted by Nyonya Boss recently. 

1. Do Not Want to Ask for Ardi Bakrie's Help

Nia also mentioned that when her father was seriously ill, she and her extended family insisted on not asking for help from Ardi Bakrie's family. Although her husband's family is very wealthy, Nia Ramadhani and her family still tried to manage on their own.

However, because at that time the situation was almost hopeless, Nia Ramadhani's family finally had to reluctantly ask for help from Ardi Bakrie. 

"It was like two or three months there, we didn't know what he was sick with. But it was pitiful, like coughing. And yet we still tried to joke," said Nia Ramadhani. 

"From there, I finally said, we are one family even though Ardi's family is much more capable, but we never ask for help. But on that day, because we felt like 'we can't do this if we don't ask for help, this person needs to be taken to Singapore, because it's like that'," she continued. 

2. Really Unable

When the condition of her father really deteriorated, Ardi Bakrie did offer help. However, once again, the Nia Ramadhani family still refused. 

However, because his condition was getting worse and the family felt that they could no longer make an effort, Nia finally accepted the offer from Ardi. 

"But at that time, because it was for a phone call to the plane at that very second, I didn't understand either. It was 2 in the morning and a plane had to come to take him to the hospital in Singapore. I also told my oldest sister, 'Let go of your pride and everything, we really need help because we can't afford it.' That's it," she explained. 

"Then when the people from Singapore came to the hospital here, I felt like 'this is the right thing'," she concluded.
