When met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta at the opening of his friend's carpet store, Kinara Carpet Gallery, recently, Thariq, who saw several collections, said that he likes Turkish and Iranian carpets. According to him, the color, pattern, and proper placement of carpets can affect the mood when staying at home.

"I prefer Turkish and Iranian carpets, I like both. But it depends on the place and mood," said Thariq Halilintar.

Thariq admits that one of his hobbies is simply to enjoy it as a home decoration. Former lover of Fuji, he admitted that he once went to Uzbekistan to look for handmade carpets.

"I didn't do it for investment, but just for my own enjoyment," he said.

"I went to Uzbekistan just to look for carpets. I wanted to find handmade ones because they take a long time to make, about six months to a year, and it requires a lot of dedication to make them," he continued.

2. Not Willing to Choose Carelessly

Furthermore, on the same occasion, Hassan Chaudhry, the owner of Kinara Carpet Gallery, stated that he does not want to choose his carpet collection carelessly. In order to obtain carpets with the best quality and history, he is not hesitant to go directly to the field to ensure the quality and authenticity of a carpet.

"Most of the time, we search and get them directly from the source, so we come directly to the place to see them. We make sure to get their history and authenticity," Hassan concluded.
