Actress Nirina Zubir appeared as a co-defendant in a civil lawsuit defending her rights to land filed by her former Domestic Assistant, Riri Khasmita, at the East Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN) on Tuesday (2/4/2024). After the trial, Nirina got into an argument with Riri Khasmita's legal team. The incident occurred while Nirina was being interviewed by the media. Check out the complete photos below.
At that time, the plaintiff's attorney left the courtroom. However, Nirina was disturbed by the presence of the plaintiff's lawyer who passed behind her. "Just go over there if you want to show off in front of the camera," said Nirina, sarcastically.
"Does Ms. Nirina want exclusivity or something? This is a public court, anyone can pass through," replied Riri's attorney, Daddy Hartadi.
Then, Nirina's husband, Ernest Cokelat, was seen separating his wife from the lawyer. Ernest at that time even clapped towards Riri's lawyer team.
Ernest's action apparently offended Riri's lawyer team and they did not accept Ernest's applause there.
"You are in front of the door, why say that, you can't do that, you are not exclusive here," Daddy said. "Father is the face representing someone who oppresses my mother," Nirina said.
Both parties then engaged in a verbal argument. Nirina felt disturbed by the attitude of one of the lawyers who had a high tone.
"Father can speak loudly, and so can I," said Nirina in a high tone. "Suspects and defendants are allowed to be defended, you should respect the lawyer," Daddy said.
Then, the court intervened to mediate between Nirina and her legal team. One of the court representatives asked Riri and Nirina's lawyers to stop their quarrel. "If possible, the court should also arrange this," Daddy said to the court.
Afterwards, the quarrel between both parties subsided. Nirina admitted that she was trembling with anger at that time. In her lawsuit, Riri Khasmita sued the Head of the Regional Office of BPN DKI Jakarta for returning the land letter to Nirina's family, who are heirs.
Previously, Riri and Edrianto were sentenced to 13 years in prison in a land mafia case. They were charged with Article 264 paragraph 2 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 sub-paragraph 1 of the KUHP, and Article 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning money laundering in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the KUHP.
