Khushi Kapoor Ready to Star in Mom Sequel Despite Her Acting Being Criticized in Nadaaniyaan
Khushi Kapoor is preparing to face new challenges in the sequel to Mom despite her acting in Nadaaniyaan receiving a lot of criticism.
Kapanlagi.com - Nunung, a senior comedian widely known in Indonesia, is currently struggling to face life's challenges that are not easy. At the age of 61, she is still working hard to meet the needs of her large family. Despite having been diagnosed with breast cancer, Nunung refuses to ask for donations and prefers to look for work to make ends meet.
In an interview with Deddy Corbuzier, Nunung revealed that her account now only has Rp100 thousand left because she rarely gets regular jobs.
“I’m just waiting, sometimes I become a guest star. Sometimes it goes down for two months, three months, so I just wait. Sometimes it’s completely empty. For the past few months, I only have Rp100 thousand in my account,” said Nunung, Monday (10/3)

Nunung explained that the income she has earned so far is mostly used to pay for her house installments to avoid losing her home. “Yes, it happens a lot because I have to pay the bank every month, I have to pay for the certificate, I have to pay for the vehicle registration. That’s what I prioritize, I don’t want to lose my house,” she added. This shows how heavy the burden she has to bear.
In addition to the installments, Nunung also has to find money for medical expenses and surgery. Unfortunately, BPJS does not cover the costs, so she has to keep working even though there is no stable income. “Yes, the others live in Solo. (Working to send money to Solo) yes, but at least now for medical treatment. I have to have surgery again. Not yet (any money) because there is no permanent job. I’ve saved a little, but there’s always something that comes up, so I have to give in again. My hand on this side has started to feel numb because maybe the circulation is disrupted. My BPJS doesn’t cover it, sir,” she explained, describing an increasingly difficult situation.
Because she needed money, Nunung even asked for a job on TV hoping to be paid in cash. However, her hopes were not fully realized. “I even begged the TV. I want to be a guest star, so I can buy medicine. I was honest with the people at the TV,” said Nunung.
“You know Vior, right? I asked him (for a job) and he tried to get it to be cash. But it turns out it couldn’t be cash either. Only a few could be expedited (for payment),” she concluded.
