Her Fifth Son Has Been Circumcised at the Age of Only 15 Days, This is Zaskia Adya Mecca's Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Zaskia Adya Mecca has just given birth to a handsome son named Bhaj Kama Bramantyo, on Friday (7/3/2020). And at his age which is not even one month old, Zaskia decided to immediately circumcise her son.

Her decision was questioned by many people. And through her Instagram, Hanung Bramantyo's wife explained her reason.

"Many people question and wonder why I circumcise my babies when they are still infants.. Bhre at 3 days old, Kama at 15 days old...," wrote Zaskia Adya Mecca on her Instagram.

There are several reasons why Zaskia Adya Mecca immediately circumcised her child at the age of just 15 days. Nothing more and nothing less, it is all for the sake of the baby's health. 

"By circumcising the child as early as possible, it can reduce the risk of UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), cleaning a boy's genitals is not as simple as a girl's, if not circumcised yet," said this mother of 5 children. 

2. Quick Recovery

In addition, a baby who is circumcised first does not need a long time to heal. According to Zaskia herself, at least Bhaj Kama only needs about 1-2 days for the healing process. 

"Baby circumcision recovery will be faster (1.5 days) with dry wounds, less trauma, and only local anesthesia.. the younger the child, the easier it is because newborn babies mostly lie on their backs and sleep... if they are over 6 months old, their legs will move a lot and they need total anesthesia (if they are already big, it's better to wait for the child to cooperate around the age of 5) if there are no medical obstacles," she explained.
