In a video uploaded by the Falcon youtube channel, the former taekwondo athlete tells that since childhood, she was often teased by her schoolmates for being considered fatherless.
Aghniny said that since birth, she has lived only with her mother. Because there is no father, her mother had to struggle alone to raise her.
Aghniny also revealed that her biological father left her when she was still in the womb. Since she was 3 months old in the womb, her father who worked in shipping never appeared.
"So my father's job was sailing, not Indonesian. After getting married, 3 months pregnant, my father left. There was never any news from him again," said Aghniny quoted from Falcon's YouTube channel.
Because she was considered to have no father, Aghniny was often bullied when she was young. Even some went so far as to hurt her by calling her an illegitimate child.
Nevertheless, Aghniny did not fall. She turned the harsh words and bullying into a catalyst to make her mental strength even stronger and tougher.
At the age of 15, her father tried to contact her and asked to meet. However, when they met, Aghniny felt no emotional connection with her father and felt awkward. One of the regrets Aghniny had when they met was that she didn't have the chance to ask why her father left her and her mother.
