Kapanlagi.com - Old photos of Kartika Putri have been circulating on social media after her viral video inviting presidential candidates to recite. She admitted feeling sad because her past was brought up again by netizens on social media.
"The saddest part was when my old photos were brought up on the last day," said Kartika Putri when met in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, Friday (26/1/2024).

However, Kartika Putri herself initially only wanted to convey her hopes to the presidential and vice-presidential candidates to recite. Unfortunately, her old photos keep appearing as a reaction.
"That's what makes me feel like 'where did I go wrong?, which one did I offend?, why?' How come my old photos are being dug up again," said Kartika Putri.
Kartika feels confused facing the attitude of netizens, considering that all the candidates are Muslims and reading the Quran is not wrong.
"What does it have to do with me wanting to hear the candidates who are all Muslims," she said.
"Then why connect it with my past and I never said I was perfect, perfect which is still very far and poor in knowledge, still being revealed, learning," she continued.
Nevertheless, Kartika still strives to become a better person and get closer to the Creator.
"That's what makes me sad, why there are people who are frontal and open, while I am trying to be better than before," Kartika said.
However, Kartika Putri herself tries to accept netizens' comments sincerely.
"So, for me, even though I am being bullied now, I am very sincere, I am very open-minded, I am content, I don't take it to heart because for me, God willing, my intention is not to bring anyone down," she said.
