In an interaction with her followers, Maharani answered a question by saying, "Not the owner of MS Glow." When someone asked about an issue with MS Glow products, she responded, "Ask directly to mbak Shandy, I also don't know."

This comment eventually raised many questions. Netizens suspected that Maharani and Shandy had split their partnership. However, this news has not been confirmed.

In addition, Maharani recently also promoted a new product brand called Sadewi Essentials. Until now, Maharani and Shandy Purnamasari have only promoted MS Glow, a brand they built together since 2013.

MS Glow was founded and developed together by Maharani Kemala and Shandy Purnamasari from scratch to become as large as it is now. They often refer to themselves as "founders" and are active in promoting MS Glow products. They often appear together in photos, create content together with branded items or luxury cars, and are frequently seen with top celebrities and influencers who serve as brand ambassadors for MS Glow.

Gathered from various sources, their business relationship does not exist within a single business entity. Each has their own company. Shandy runs her business under PT Kosmetika Cantik Indonesia, while Maharani operates under Urban Asia. Although it seems strange, that is the reality.

According to the Intellectual Property Data Center of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, MS Glow has been registered since August 14, 2022, in the name of Shandy Purnamasari with application number DID2022060553. Similarly, the MS Glow Aesthetic trademark has been registered since May 16, 2024, in the name of Shandy Purnamasari with application number JID2024041435. This raises the question of why Maharani Kemala's name is not listed as the brand owner, even though the MS Glow brand was built together in 2013.
