The East Jakarta District Court (PN) held a continuation of the trial for the death case of Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo alias Dante, the son of Angger Dimas and Tamara Tyasmara, with the defendant Yudha Arfandi on Thursday (15/8/2024).
The agenda for this session was to hear testimonies from two witnesses. The first was a doctor from Premiere Jatinegara Hospital, namely Cathrine Yosefin. The second was Lineus Hewis, the doctor who usually treated Dante when he was sick.
In today's trial, Ristya Aryuni, the mother of Tamara Tyasmara, was present to witness the trial process. She sat in the front visitor's seat on the right side of the panel of judges.
While holding a photo frame of her grandson, Ristya Aryuni was very focused on following the trial proceedings. She said that the photo frame she was holding contained a picture of Dante with Lineus Hewis.
“This is a photo of Dante with his doctor when he was a child. Yes, this is Dante's last photo, this is Dante who asked for the photo at that time,” said Ristya at the East Jakarta District Court (PN), Thursday (15/8/2024).
In the courtroom, Ristya Aryuni, who was sitting with several other family members, cried as the witness gave their testimony in front of the panel of judges. Ristya was seen several times wiping her tears with a tissue.
After Dr. Lineus Hewis finished giving his statement in front of the panel of judges and exited, Ristya Aryuni's mother also left the courtroom. She handed a photo frame of Dante to Dr. Lineus Hewis.
Ristya Aryuni cried while expressing her gratitude for having given her statement in front of the panel of judges. "Doctor, thank you," said Ristya Aryuni while crying.
Meanwhile, quoted from SIPP (Information System) with case number 328/Pid.B/2024/PN JKT.TIM, the first hearing of the case regarding Dante's death with the defendant Yudha Arfandi took place on June 27, 2024.
Yudha Arfandi is charged under Article 80, Article 340 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code with a sentence of life imprisonment.
As information, Dante passed away on January 27, 2024, in a swimming pool in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta. Yudha was reported by the police to have submerged Dante 12 times in a pool that was 1.5 meters deep, but Yudha claimed he did it for breathing practice.
