Today, Thursday (20/5), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) held the second dose of Covid-19 vaccination for nearly 500 artists and cultural figures in DKI Jakarta Province. The vaccination program was held in conjunction with the 113th anniversary of National Awakening Day, Thursday (20/5/2021). Interestingly, the artists appeared in various attention-grabbing costumes. The second vaccination program was held at Plaza Insan Berprestasi Kemdikbudristek today, Thursday (20/5/2021).
This program was attended by approximately 500 cultural figures, writers, performing arts practitioners, actors, musicians, and other elements.
This program is a continuation of the first dose vaccination that was carried out in April 2021 and attended by President Joko Widodo.
This time, it was Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek), Nadiem Anwar Makarim's turn to attend and directly observe the implementation of the second dose vaccination.
Interestingly, the artists appeared in various unique costumes, such as Hanuman.
No wonder Gatotkaca remained calm during the injection, the needle surely didn't feel at all.
Several famous artists were also seen on that occasion, such as Nicholas Saputra, Morgan Oey, Melaney Ricardo, Cak Lontong, Arie Kriting, Indah Permatasari, and many others.
The hope is that after completing the vaccination, artists and cultural figures can resume their work as before.
The second dose of vaccination for artists and cultural figures in DKI Jakarta Province is being carried out by the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital team at Wisma Atlet, supported by the Health Agency and the Cultural Agency of DKI Jakarta.
The type of vaccine used is the Sinovac vaccine from the Chinese manufacturer.
