Hurt Because of Slander, Irwansyah Confides in Zaskia Sungkar Until Crying

"It was really like, I couldn't move freely at that time," said Irwansyah.

"I couldn't move freely, suddenly there were several contracts. Then suddenly, it was about to be a definite contract, the price was agreed upon, all that was left was for them to send the contract, but suddenly there was news about it in the infotainment, and suddenly it was canceled, and there were three advertisements," he continued.

1. Wondering

Facing such a difficult test, Irwansyah wondered what was happening to him and his family. At a time when he wanted something good, but instead something bad came to him.

"I said, okay, this is indeed our test. Honestly, at that time I also wondered why when I wanted to do good, when I wanted to make an effort to have a child, why did I get something like this, the situation, you know," he said.

2. Trying to Accept

At that moment, Irwansyah felt very grateful to have a patient wife like Zaskia Sungkar. And because of the support from his wife, he tried to surrender and accept it.

"But I talked to her (Zaskia) and friends who understand, you know, 'this is a test, bro, if you can get through it, God willing, you'll be even stronger, you can do anything,'" he explained.

"Finally, I tried to be strong and accept it, and it turns out that Allah gave me the answer, wow," he continued.

3. Heartache

Furthermore, Zaskia Sungkar also told how her husband felt very heartbroken by the slander. In fact, when talking to him, Irwan even cried.

"He said this, he was so heartbroken by this slander, he said 'I built my career from scratch, I had nothing, I took public transportation, I auditioned, I even sold my motorcycle to make a living while shooting a film back then. I started from nothing but it was ruined by slander like this. That's what makes him unable to accept it," said Shireen Sungkar's older brother.
