Husband Tells Last Conversation with Ria Irawan, Says the Pain Makes Her Tired

The departure of Ria Irawan has left her family, especially her husband, Mayky Wongkar, in mourning. Sadness is evident on his face. He tries to accept his wife's departure.

In the midst of grief, Mayky recounts his last conversation with his wife. Ira Irawan mentioned that she already felt tired because of her illness.

"What she said to me was, tired. Yes, the pain makes her tired because she was attacked in both her brain and lungs, so the treatment couldn't be done simultaneously because her physical condition was already weak. It's not like 4-5 years ago when she underwent chemotherapy, radiation several times. Besides, she's already 50 years old and she told the doctor that she's not young anymore, she can't handle another round of chemotherapy," Mayky Wongkar said when met at Ria Irawan's Funeral Home, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, on Monday morning (6/01).

1. Cancer Cells Have Spread

Although chemotherapy has been done, it seems that the cancer cells have spread to other organs. Even the lungs of the KUAMBIL LAGI HATIKU film actress have been attacked.

"Finally, it was camouflaged orally. The choice was whether she wanted to finish her head first so that she could be normal, able to communicate, walk, and so on. But it turns out that her lungs were very aggressive. After the brain was finished, when the lung treatment was supposed to start, it had already been leaked, flooded with cancer cells. So she said to me, not only to me, but to everyone," he continued.

2. Ira Irawan Remains Strong in Fighting Cancer

In the midst of her pain, Ria Irawan continues to show her resilience in fighting against cancer. Her spirit to recover remains high.

"But that's how Ria speaks, not dramatic. Just normal. When asked 'what hurts?', she answers 'everything hurts', 'how does it feel?', she answers 'crushed'. 'Who is strong?', 'of course, me' she answers," concluded her husband, remembering their conversation with Ria Irawan.
