In the Midst of a Legal Case, It is Revealed that Jonathan Frizzy is Diagnosed with Early Stage Colon Cancer

According to Benny, before the illegal vape case emerged, Jonathan Frizzy was actually in poor health and had a health scare. This situation was worsened by a serious diagnosis from the doctor.

"He was sick too... at that time when he was examined by the police doctor, he said, 'Oh, this is already early stage cancer. It has to be treated,'" revealed Benny Simanjuntak at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (6/8/2025).

1. Colon Cancer

Benny confirmed that the illness suffered by the actor commonly known as Ijonk is colon cancer.

"Cancer, early-stage colon cancer. Because in my family, there are two people, his father and my younger brother, who have colon cancer," he explained.

This health condition is one of the reasons why Ijonk was not detained and received treatment. "I thank the prosecutor's office because Jonathan is being taken care of inside, in detention," he added.

2. Wisdom Behind Adversity

According to Benny, this legal case has escalated due to the famous name of Jonathan Frizzy. He sees wisdom behind the misfortune that has befallen his nephew.

"For me, it’s okay, Jonathan should become more mature. So it means that not all friends can be accompanied. And that is the risk of being famous," he stated.

3. Much Stronger

Even though facing two heavy trials at once, namely legal and health issues, Benny sees Ijonk as now much stronger. His new bald look is said to make him appear fresher.

"Getting more handsome, and he is getting healthier, right? Thank God he is becoming mentally stronger," concluded Benny Simanjuntak.
