Inara Rusli Demands Equal Property and Custody Rights in Counter-Divorce Suit Against Virgoun

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Virgoun decided to withdraw his divorce petition on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at the West Jakarta Religious Court. The father of three children wanted to add a custody rights claim in his suit.

While Virgoun's party was preparing the new suit, Inara Rusli acted quickly by registering a divorce suit against Virgoun at the West Jakarta Religious Court.

The suit, registered on Monday, May 22, 2023, has been assigned the case number 1662/Pdt.G/2023/PAJB. This was announced by Arjana Bagaskara, Inara's legal representative.

"Yes, Inara Rusli sues Virgoun," said Arjana Bagaskara when contacted by the media on Tuesday (23/5/2023).

1. Equal Property and Custody Rights

In her suit, Inara demands equal property rights and custody rights for her three children. There are also several demands whose details have not been explained by Arjana.

"There are 11 demands in the main case," concluded Arjana.

Arjana said that the court has already set a trial schedule with a mediation agenda, which will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 starting at 09.00 AM WIB.

2. First Trial

As previously reported, the first hearing of singer Virgoun's divorce lawsuit against Inara Rusli was held at the West Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (17/5/2023). Unexpectedly, the hearing did not include mediation, which is usually part of the first divorce hearing. The hearing was scheduled to discuss Virgoun's request to withdraw the divorce.

Facing this reality, Inara Rusli's party admitted to being surprised and unable to do anything. Because the judge eventually granted Virgoun's request to withdraw the divorce.

"What can we do now that it has already been granted?" said Arjana Daneswara, Inara's legal representative after the hearing.
