Recently, 2 members of JKT48, Ara & Chicka, went viral because they were involved in a dating scandal while still active as JKT48 members. It turns out that besides Ara and Chicka, there are several other members who have been involved in similar cases.

Thalia or Tata, a member of JKT48's KIII unit, was involved in a scandal in 2015. Photos of her with a man named Fade Perkasa circulated widely, and the management immediately announced that Tata was expelled from JKT48.
In 2014, Jessica Vania or Jeje, a first-generation member, was involved in a scandal related to photos. She apologized during the Dareka No Tame Ni theater performance to her fans.
Ratu Vienny Fitrilya or Viny JKT48 got involved in a dating scandal with a man in 2017. Her status as the captain of JKT48's Team KIII was demoted to trainee.
Nabila Fitriana or Lala JKT48 was involved in a dating scandal in 2020. A photo of Lala with a man, allegedly a model, spread widely on social media.
Gabriela Marceline or Aby JKT48 was involved in a scandal after being caught on vacation with a man rumored to be her boyfriend at the end of 2020. The management team decided to remove Aby from Team KIII.
Zahra Nur Khaulah or Ara JKT48 went viral after a photo of her with her boyfriend, Fiki UN1TY, spread widely on Twitter. The management team took strict action by removing her.
In addition to Ara, Yessica Tamara or Chika also got involved in the same case. It turns out that Ara and Chika were enjoying a double date. Chika confirmed that the circulated photo was of her and apologized to fans and management. Chika was not expelled from JKT48 but was suspended from all activities.
