Increasing Covid Cases, Vega Darwanti Worries About Her Husband Who Works as a Doctor

"That's why I'm worried, because my husband is a healthcare professional. He meets a lot of patients and hears a lot of stories about Covid," said Vega when met in the Captain Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/12).

Vega Darwanti's concerns are certainly justified. Especially since her husband often meets patients whose test results show positive for Covid-19.

"Worried, because he has encountered several Covid cases. My husband is a radiology doctor, so the results of people with Covid are distinctive. Usually, when he knows that the patient has Covid, he immediately does a swab test," she explained.

Vega Darwanti and her family have made several efforts to protect themselves from the dangers of the coronavirus. She admitted that reducing activities outside the house and implementing health protocols are key to avoiding Covid exposure.

"He definitely knows better because he works with complete personal protective equipment (PPE), frequently washes his hands, and does swab tests more often. I also have a job that involves meeting many people, so the most important thing is to adhere to health protocols. And if there are unnecessary things, like going to the mall, I limit them and only do them when necessary," she added.
