Indah Aini Appointed as Beauty Director for Indonesia Now at 'NYFW Spring/Summer 2025', Bringing Indonesia's Natural Beauty to the International Stage!

Indonesia is also sending its representatives to participate through the Indonesia Now group, one of whom is the renowned makeup artist, Indah Aini, who has been appointed as Beauty Director.

Indah began her career in the beauty industry in 2002 and has since successfully built her business, including establishing seven well-known beauty salons across Indonesia.

Since 2018, she has also been the Beauty Lead Advisor for Indonesia Now at New York Fashion Week, further establishing herself as a pioneer in the beauty industry.

Indah Aini's role as Beauty Director involves communicating with designers, creating makeup mood boards, and developing and directing makeup themes that align with the designers' collection vision to create a harmonious look and reinforce the message of their collection showcased at NYFW, a prestigious international event.

Indah Aini also leads a team of makeup artists and beauty professionals to ensure consistency and quality of appearance on the runway, as well as integrating the latest beauty trends and innovative makeup techniques to create captivating looks.

"Makeup at NYFW 2024 focuses on a fresh and glowing skin look. We use lightweight foundation for a 'dewy' effect without being cakey, subtle contouring techniques, and natural brow styling. Neutral or soft shimmer eyeshadows, mascara for natural volume, and lips in nude, peach, or pastel pink shades will dominate," Indah stated.

This year marks a shift from bold and striking makeup to a minimalist and natural style. "Current makeup trends emphasize a fresh and healthy look with techniques like skin tint and efficient multitasking products," Indah explained.

Nude, peach, and pastel pink colors on the runway offer a soft and natural appearance. "These colors are designed to highlight natural beauty and are easy to incorporate into daily routines. Although not flashy, these colors have the potential to become a major trend due to their suitability for various skin types and outfits," she concluded.
