Indra Bekti Wants to Spend His Old Age in Australia with His Family

Born in Jakarta on December 28, 1977, he wants a different atmosphere in their second home. "Different seasons, different people, there's a moon," said Bekti on SCTV's YouTube Channel on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Apparently, Indra and his wife, Aldilla Jelita, along with their two children, have a desire to have a house and settle in Australia. "We do have a dream," added Bekti.

Bekti also dreams of moving and living in Australia. He wants his children to be able to go to school in the Land of Kangaroos. "I also want to grow old there," Bekti emphasized.

1. Starting the Struggle from Scratch

Bekti truly experienced how difficult it is to start a new life in that neighboring country. In Indonesia, he was already famous as an artist and all his needs were easily fulfilled. However, in this new place, everything changed. Bekti had to start everything from scratch.

He realized that in this new place, he had to rearrange his life and find a job. Bekti, who is also a father of two children, admitted that the situation and his status would definitely be different here. He couldn't rely on his popularity as an artist to be known and served easily like in Indonesia. He had to struggle hard to get a job and build a new life.

2. More Harmonious

Bekti revealed that the harmony of his household with Aldilla has become more captivating and harmonious after that dream. He believes that Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala has opened the way for them after going through a period of sadness in the past.

"Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala has given us a way after the sad events in the past," he said.

It cannot be denied that Bekti and Aldilla went through a divorce in 2023. However, they managed to rebuild their relationship and walked down the aisle only four months after separating.

3. Can Accept Exams

Bekti feels very lucky because Aldilla has chosen him again as a life partner, although it cannot be denied that they have gone through difficult times that led to divorce for several months.

"As humans in life, we must be able to accept exams. Hopefully, we can gain wisdom and blessings. The important thing is to continue worshiping and improving our relationship with Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala and fellow human beings," Bekti concluded.
