"It was enjoyable there, especially since we brought family starting from the nephews, siblings, and also our in-laws, as well as our aunt, and the sister of our late mother," said Indra Bruggman when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, Thursday (8/5/2025).
The 42-year-old actor was happy to see the joyful expressions of his family during their time in Mecca. He mentioned that their pilgrimage trip went smoothly without any obstacles.
"And this is their first time there, so I’m just happy to see their expressions. Also, they were able to perform their Umrah smoothly, without any sickness at all, so I'm just happy to see them," he said.

According to Indra, the most important thing is that the Umrah can be performed smoothly and that they return in good health. He also feels grateful for all the smoothness that occurred while they were there.
"Because the prayers we want are not prayers that we know will be answered instantly. But thank God that everything went smoothly, that’s the most important thing, we can maintain the Umrah well, and can return home in good health and safety," he explained.
Not to forget, Indra also included special prayers for finding a soulmate while in Mecca. He admitted to continuing his efforts, though not excessively. "Oh, yesterday's prayer, there is a special prayer for that. If there is an effort, of course, because praying without making an effort is useless, right?" he said.
