Inspired by Iwan Fals, Danes Rabani Releases Debut Album

Kapanlagi.com - After releasing the single 'Seperti Dirimu' in mid-July, Danes Rabani finally released his debut album titled Cerita: Hari Ini, Esok & Kemarin.

This album, which carries the pop music genre, is skillfully crafted by Dygo and Budi (Jibaku Production). The lyrics of the songs mostly highlight the values of friendship, the spirit of life, and love for parents.

"I'm currently in 8th grade. In my opinion, in this album, we mainly focus on lyrics about friendship during school, how little kids play, and also about the support of my parents until I can be here," said Danes Rabani during a recent virtual press conference.

1. Dream of Having an Album

Although considered a newcomer in the music industry of the homeland, Danes Rabani is confident in releasing an album. Especially in times of pandemic like this. Apparently, having an album has been his dream since childhood.

“In my opinion, a good start is indeed an album. Having an album is also one of my dreams. If I already have one album, I will feel relieved,” he said.

2. Inspired by Iwan Fals

Danes Rabani, who once aspired to be a professional football player, admitted to being interested in the music world since watching the legendary concert of Iwan Fals. The singer of Bento became one of his inspirations to dive into the world of music.

“Uncle Iwan Fals has the Oi organization. My dad is the secretary-general of Oi. So, our family has a close relationship with Uncle Iwan's family. So one day, my dad invited me and my siblings to watch Uncle Iwan's concert. I watched it from the front and I had an interest in wanting to be like him someday. From there, there has been an interest in music,” concluded Danes Rabani.
