Instagram Account Hacker Has Already Taken Victims, Egi John Will Report to the Police

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Egi John has been in the spotlight after making a statement on his social media about selling his Instagram account for Rp 1 million. The reason is to fund his father's medical treatment.

His ex-girlfriend Marshanda strongly denies this. Egi states that his Instagram account has been hacked. Furthermore, his father passed away in 2004.

Because the hacker's posts have already caused harm, Egi is currently trying to regain control of his account. Egi also intends to pursue legal action regarding this matter.

1. Hope to Stop Fraud

"How can I stop it now by taking back the account. Hopefully it can," said Egi John when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (24/7/2023).

"I want to report it now, just to stop it. If not, it won't stop, right?" added Egi John.

Egi feels that the hacker has started to disturb. Moreover, not one or two people have become victims. However, he doesn't want to suspect anyone about who has hacked his Instagram account.

"I don't want to find out either. I'm disturbed if there are victims. Some lost 3 million, some even 7 million," explained Egi John.

2. Informed by the Victims

Egi admitted that he was contacted by victims who claimed to have donated to the hacker. The victims gave donation money because of the stories created by the hacker on his Instagram account.

"I contacted him, he said 'I donated to you'. He gave the account number, the hacker's WhatsApp number," Egi concluded.
