Intan Wisni's Confession as Indonesia's Representative at Miss Eco International 2021, Initially Not Recognized as Her Mother's Child

Intan was aware that her answer to the judge was not optimal. After the event, she made a video to apologize to the public of her homeland because she was nervous. Unfortunately, netizens chose to criticize her harshly.

In response to this, Intan spoke up. Through a post on her Instagram account, she stated that she would remain strong in facing this challenge.

"I am still here, standing tall and strong in my place. I remain strong because I have a Vision and Mission to strengthen others. A thousand people oppose and ridicule my struggle, but one sentence from my mother, 'Mom is proud of you, dear'. It becomes my source of strength," Intan wrote in the caption of her post.

Yes, Intan doesn't care about what people say about her appearance in the Miss Eco International 2021 event. What matters is that she feels very satisfied and happy because she can get recognition from her mother who used to refuse to acknowledge her as a child.

"In 2017, I was not acknowledged as a child because of my desire to continue to be involved in the pageant world. But in 2021, my mother said 'Proud' to me. That is far enough for me and it becomes the fuel for me to stay strong and empower 'those' who need it, 'those' who are laughed at and 'those' who are underestimated," Intan concluded.

One thing to note, Intan successfully made it to the top 10 in the Miss Eco International 2021 event. This is certainly an achievement that is very proud for Intan, considering that she had to compete with many finalists from various other countries.
