Iqbaal Ramadhan Visits 'Grandfather' in Japan, Striking with Oji-chan Style

Iqbaal Ramadhan recently shared a special moment while in Japan. Not just an ordinary vacation, the actor and musician took the time to meet someone very important in his life, a man he affectionately calls Oji-chan or grandfather in Japanese.

Through his social media post, Iqbaal showcased several photos of his time with the man he also calls Izumi-san. From mirror selfies together, warm dinner moments, to the atmosphere when they spent time together in Tokyo.

Iqbaal revealed that this visit became a very memorable experience. He was even taken on a tour of the areas that the Oji-chan referred to as 'deep area' or corners of Tokyo that tourists might rarely know about.

"Visiting my Oji-chan in Japan! Grateful to be taken around the 'hidden' areas (as he called them) around Tokyo, including his office." Iqbaal said, who also praised the style of the Oji-chan.

"We reminisced about his time in Jakarta (he was here during the Reformasi riots in 1998) and talked about his life and many other things. Nostalgia is indeed a very strong feeling... See you again, Izumi-san! Mata ne!" Iqbaal wrote.

Their togetherness seemed full of warmth. In one of the photos, Iqbaal is seen enjoying dinner with Izumi-san and a woman.

For Iqbaal, this journey seems not just about visiting Japan, but also about reuniting with someone who holds a special place in his life.

Iqbaal shared his vibe while on the streets of Tokyo. Wearing a brownish-yellow jacket, the former CJR member appeared to enjoy the city's atmosphere, from walking in urban areas to relaxing on the train.
