Currently, Irfan Hakim said that he already has nine horses for his children to practice with. He believes that supporting his children's hobbies is his duty as a parent.
"I have to provide enough horses because I have many children. Now I just realized that I already have nine horses," said Irfan Hakim when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, not long ago.

"This is just a hobby, the kids also enjoy it and there is also the value of the Prophet's tradition, so yeah, let's do it," Irfan Hakim continued.
Irfan Hakim realizes that horse riding is not a cheap hobby. Just to own one horse, Irfan Hakim has to spend tens of millions of rupiah, so for 9 horses he has to spend hundreds of millions plus other expenses.
"More, it's for 9 horses. Just one horse alone can cost 2 digits. Let's save it for the PON later, because in Aceh and North Sumatra, sending a horse alone costs tens of millions for transportation," said Irfan Hakim.
"If we keep a horse, we have to rent a stable, it's like renting a room. The rental price is also equivalent to a medium to high-end room. That's just the stable, not including feed, veterinarian, training, care, equipment, and others," added Irfan Hakim.
When asked about the total amount of money spent, Irfan Hakim admitted that he never kept a special record for the expenses of his children's horses. One of the reasons is because he is afraid of feeling heartbroken when remembering how much he spent.
"I'm the type of person who pays and forgets. So if asked how much, it's not that I don't want to answer, but I don't know. I choose to erase the memory because if I remember, it hurts," Irfan Hakim concluded with a laugh.
