It's Not About Jealousy with Co-Star, Makes Audy Item Worried When Iko Uwais Shoots a Film Without a Replacement Role

While being left by Iko Uwais, as a wife, Audy Item certainly trusts the man who has been married to her for 10 years. Audy even admitted that she doesn't feel jealous of Iko Uwais.

"I'm not jealous. We just trust each other," said Audy Item when met in the Gelora Bung Karno area, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (3/1) night.

1. Perform Scenes Without a Stunt Double

However, the 38-year-old singer does not deny that sometimes she worries about her husband when he is working. This is because Iko, who is known as an action actor, often performs dangerous scenes without a stunt double.

"I am more worried about him (Iko Uwais) than jealous. He rarely uses a stuntman when performing dangerous scenes," said Audy Item.

2. Message to Iko Uwais

Therefore, Audy Item never gets tired of advising her husband to perform dangerous stunts according to his abilities. Meanwhile, in the same occasion, Iko Uwais stated his reason for performing various dangerous scenes by himself so that his acting during filming could be maximized.

"Remember that you have a wife and children at home who are often left far away," said Audy.

"If the scenes he performs are successful, it becomes a source of pride," added Iko Uwais.

3. Adding a Child

On the other hand, amidst his rising popularity as an actor, both Iko Uwais and Audy Item apparently still want to add a child. They are very happy to have a baby boy in their household.

"If asked if we want to have another child, yes we will continue. If it's a boy, alhamdulillah, we are grateful for whatever we are given," said Iko Uwais when met at Gelora Bung Karno Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday night, (3/1).

4. Not Insisting

However, the 38-year-old actor and his wife admitted that they are not insisting too much to fulfill that desire. In the same occasion, Audy also stated that she and her husband are not specifically following any program to have a baby boy.

"We don't have a specific program. We just go with the flow. Having a child is a blessing, if Allah grants us the trust to have another child, then Insya Allah. The important thing is that both of us don't specifically have to follow a program," said Audy Item.

Certainly, now Iko Uwais and Audy Item really enjoy their roles as parents. Despite being busy with work, they always pay attention to the growth and development of their two children.

"The development of the child is already rapid and very understanding. The older sibling is very caring and doesn't resist the younger sibling," said Iko Uwais.

"Yes, we do protect, but still within reasonable limits," added Audy Item.
