The man affectionately known as Igun has just attended the graduation ceremony for students at Cinta Quran Center. His presence was not just as a guest, but as a foster parent who is proud to see the achievements of his students in pursuing religious knowledge.

As someone who has long been involved in the entertainment world, Ivan has a very high concern for the regeneration of preachers in Indonesia. The son of diplomat Bambang Cahyo Gunawan does not only think about worldly luxuries but also invests in the hereafter through the education of the students to become a useful generation.

"Alhamdulillah, today I am present at the graduation ceremony for students at Cinta Quran Center. Masyaallah, as a foster parent, today I witnessed hundreds of students graduating. Insyaallah next year, my foster children, my students will also graduate, insyaallah. So I hope for those of you who graduated today, insyaallah can become the next extraordinary generation of preachers. Congratulations," he said when met in the Jalan TB Simatupang area, South Jakarta, Saturday (7/2/2026).

"So thank God I have 20 foster children here. So this is what it's like to be a parent with 20 children. So in total, I now have 170 foster children, masyaallah. So yes, I’m happy, that’s why today I participated, to see what their graduation process is like," he added.

Ivan realizes that the synergy he has built with the religious foundation has a real positive impact on his life. He has a vision for his foster students to have a secure future and to be able to be independent and give back to the places where they learned after they graduate later.

"God willing, when we talk about blessings, we can't really feel it, right? We don't know what our blessings are like. But coincidentally, I am with the Cinta Quran Foundation, Cinta Quran Center, we always synergize. And coincidentally, I also have a tahfiz house, I have students as well. I want my students to have a guaranteed future," explained Ivan.

Seeing the graduation moment turned out to be a source of motivation for Ivan to continue working hard in the entertainment industry. He feels that the fatigue of working is fully paid off when he realizes that the wealth he has accumulated can benefit many people and be returned to the path of God.

"Yes, seeing beautiful moments like this makes me even more excited to work, even more eager to earn money, which we also return to Allah. God willing, I am happy to be here today," he said.

"For me, yes, this is inner satisfaction. Our inner self becomes more fulfilled, our lives become calmer. We also know what we work for, we know why we are tired. Right? So it becomes worship, and we hope that the results of our worship will also be returned to worship, insyaallah," he concluded.
