This year, the Miss Grand International 2023 beauty contest was held at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This beauty contest from Bangkok, Thailand was first held in 2013. Its aim is to promote peace amidst the political turmoil in the White Elephant Country.
This event featured 69 selected finalists from various countries around the world, KLovers. A series of awards were bestowed upon those involved in this contest.

In the Miss Grand International 2023 beauty pageant, Ivan Gunawan successfully received the Golden Grand Award. This award is specifically given to the best national director in organizing their country's contestants.
"It is an honor for me to receive this Golden Grand Award as the Best National Director of Miss Grand International 2023," Ivan Gunawan wrote in the caption of his photo on Instagram in English.

In addition, Ivan Gunawan also received a golden crown as the recipient of the Golden Grand Award for Best National Director. Meanwhile, Vietnam and Peru were the recipients of the Silver Grand Award.

In the Miss Grand International 2023 contest, Ivan Gunawan won two awards. He considers these awards as proof of Indonesia's dedication to this industry.
