Iyut Bing Slamet Tested Positive for Drug Use, Crying - Being Comforted by Two Female Police Officers During Press Conference

Kapanlagi.com - Former child artist Iyut Bing Slamet was once again apprehended by the police regarding the use of illegal drugs. He was arrested on Thursday night (3/12/2020) at his residence in the Johar Baru area, Central Jakarta.

This arrest of Iyut Bing Slamet is based on a report from the public suspecting drug abuse in one of the houses. After being searched, the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police found evidence of a set of crystal meth smoking tools.

"We have apprehended a suspect named RF or IBS. The chronology is on Thursday at half past midnight, the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police conducted an investigation into drug abuse in one of the houses. And after the officers entered the house, a set of crystal meth smoking tools, two gas lighters, and one clear clip of drug residue were found. Based on these findings, we brought the suspect to the office. And after testing, the suspect's urine tested positive for methamphetamine," said South Jakarta Metropolitan Police Chief, Kombes Pol Budi Sartono, during the press conference on Saturday (5/12/2020).

Based on his confession, Iyut Bing Slamet bought 0.7 grams of methamphetamine from a dealer in the Johar Baru area. He immediately consumed the illegal substance on Tuesday before being arrested on Thursday night.

Iyut himself has been a sporadic user since 2004. He uses illegal drugs when he has money.

"Based on preliminary examination, he has been a sporadic drug user since 2004 due to financial conditions. He buys from whoever is available, and we are currently investigating. He is charged under Article 127 Paragraph 1 as a user with a maximum sentence of four years," said Kombes Pol Budi Sartono.

Before the press conference with the media and during the process, Iyut Bing Slamet was seen crying. Two female police officers were assigned to accompany him.

These two police officers were very attentive in calming Iyut down. Besides patting his back, they occasionally whispered words to him.
