Jennifer Coppen Wants to Go on Umrah Before Dali Wassink Passes Away, Now She Can Depart Funded by a Good Person

She plans to perform umrah with her son, Kamari Sky Wassink, accompanied by Ustaz Derry Sulaiman on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Ustaz Derry Sulaiman shared how this umrah plan came about unexpectedly.

"Jennifer is really spontaneous. When I was about to leave for umrah, she said, 'Ustaz, before Dali passes away, Dali said he wanted to go on umrah'. So I said, let's go together," said Derry Sulaiman in the Bekasi area, Monday (16/9/2024).

1. Jennifer Did Not Expect to Depart So Soon

Derry Sulaiman explained that initially, Jennifer and her group were scheduled to depart on September 15. However, due to various reasons, the departure was postponed until September 17. He said that Jennifer herself initially did not expect that the process of departing for Umrah could happen so quickly.

"Originally, we were supposed to leave on the 15th, but it was postponed to the 17th, insya Allah. She didn’t expect it, thought it would be like the Hajj with long queues, but it wasn’t, we could depart anytime as long as we were ready," he said.

2. Jennifer's Free Umrah

Ustaz Derry had offered to finance Jennifer's Umrah trip. However, Jennifer insisted on paying for herself, including for her friend, driver, and aunt who joined the trip.

However, there was an unexpected event that made their journey even more blessed. Ustaz Derry also mentioned that the trip went smoothly without any obstacles.

"I said I would pay for it. She said she didn’t want that, she wanted to pay for herself. She didn’t want to be treated. But my intention was there and it came up, then she said she wanted to bring the driver, aunt, and her friend. So there were five of them," he said.

"So Jenni paid for three, right? When she was about to pay, suddenly someone on Instagram said they wanted to pay for Jenni. In the end, those two people, the driver and her aunt, were paid for by that kind person. Masya Allah," he concluded.
