Jennifer Dunn's Legal Counsel Warns Fake Instagram Account Owners

Kapanlagi.com - Jennifer Dunn confirms that the Instagram account that frequently uploads photos of herself with Faisal Haris is not hers. She admits that she no longer has an Instagram account for the past four years.

Regarding the appearance of accounts claiming to be Jennifer Dunn, the lawyer of this beautiful artist, Firman Candra, revealed that this can be a legal incident. It means that the owners of these accounts can be subject to legal sanctions for creating an account in Jeje's name.

"Everything related to mbak Jeje is not hers. Where did those photos come from, and what is the legal incident of taking someone else's photos," said Firman Candra while accompanying Jeje in clarifying the matter on Insertlive.com, on Wednesday (29/1/2020).

1. Property Theft

Firman revealed that the photos uploaded in those accounts were obtained from several other family members who uploaded them on Instagram and then reposted them. According to Firman, this is one form of property theft that can be subject to legal sanctions.

"It means there is a legal event called property theft. In this case, the property is the copyright of the Instagram person who is brought to Instagram and is falsely claimed to be owned by mbak Jeje," he added.

2. Slander

Not only property theft, Faisal Candra revealed that the owners of those accounts also committed slander. Although the captions in the posts may seem wise, for Faisal, this can be detrimental to his clients.

"Because there is a confession from mbak Jeje that she made a caption that ends with 'if you want to be a good wife, you should do this,' even though it's not mbak Jeje. So in the end, there are other parties who feel touched, 'oh, it seems like this is offending me,' even though we have no intention at all in that," added Firman.
