Jenny Rachman Distributes Takjil and Basic Needs for Covid-19 Affected Residents

Kapanlagi.com - Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, through the Jiwa Ramah Sesama Foundation that she established, senior actress Jenny Rahman distributed basic needs packages to poor residents directly affected by the Covid-19 outbreak on Wednesday (29/4/2020).

The aid was distributed in several areas of Jakarta such as Senopati Street, Kuningan, Buncit Raya, Wolter Monginsidi, Latuharhary Street, and surrounding areas. Not only in Jakarta, Jenny Rachman also distributed basic needs packages to Yogyakarta and Bali.

1. There are 1000 Sembako

According to Jenny, they provide 1000 packages of Sembako and 1000 boxed rice with takjil that they send every day for breaking the fast. The distribution of boxed rice has been done since March until now.

This activity is carried out as a replacement for the annual routine event, which is providing assistance to 500 orphans. "Coincidentally, this year there is a COVID outbreak. So we replace it with the distribution of Sembako and boxed rice for orphans," said Jenny Rachman, recently in Jakarta.

2. Feeling Called

The winner of 3 Citra Awards expressed concern about the condition of the less fortunate, after the spread of the corona outbreak. She felt called to share her blessings, so that they can be beneficial for them.

"This is all our obligation entrusted with blessings from Allah SWT that are better than theirs. No matter how small, what we can give to them can be useful and we are all protected by Allah from this outbreak. There is no other intention, except to seek the pleasure of Allah," she explained.

3. Have a Foundation

The Jiwa Ramah Sesama Foundation itself was established by Jenny 12 years ago. The reason is that she wants to be able to freely engage in various social activities and share happiness and blessings with others. Jenny also tirelessly encourages donors and her friends to together increase their concern for others.

"So that what we do is not alone, if we are together it becomes bigger and stronger, especially for the welfare of orphans who need help because they don't have parents. If not from us who have the ability, who else can help and pay attention to them," added Jenny.

4. According to Religious Teachings

The wife of Suprajarto admits that her focus on social actions reflects the noble teachings of religion to care for and help those in need.

"Insha Allah, we will all become His chosen servants," Jenny emphasized.
