Jenny Rachman Forced to Attend Related to Vandalism Case, Police: Said to Be Out of Town

Kapanlagi.com - Pondok Aren Police Station, South Tangerang forcibly took senior artist Jenny Rachman. The 64-year-old woman is known to have twice evaded investigator's summons regarding the alleged case of vandalism at Alia Karenina's house.

A total of 10 members of the Pondok Aren Police Station, South Tangerang, visited Jenny's residence on Sumenep Street, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Monday night (24/7). Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP Erwin Subekti, led the operation at around 8:00 PM.

"Yes, that's correct (we have taken her) and the security's statement was like that (Jenny was not there)," said Erwin when contacted by the media on Wednesday (26/7/2023).

"For now, I can't force my way in, it's pointless if the person is not there, so I'll wait until she's there and then we'll go there," added Erwin Subekti.

1. Currently Out of Town

As a result, the police failed to carry out their duties that night. Moreover, they received news that Jenny is currently out of town.

"Yes, she was said to be out of town, yes, she has done it twice (skipped). She was picked up on Monday, the 24th," said Erwin.

"So we consider the person uncooperative. What does she want if she acts uncooperatively like that? It means she is not a good citizen," Erwin continued.

2. Alleged Vandalism Case

Not only that, the police also visited Rita Rachman's house, Jenny's sister. Just like her sister, Rita was also not at her residence.

As a reminder, Jenny Rachman and her sister, Rita Rachman, were reported by Alia Karenina in relation to the alleged vandalism case of her house with police report LP/80/K/III/2022/Sek.Aren. Both of them have been named as suspects since September 2022.

Jenny and Rita are charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 406 of the Criminal Code regarding assault and/or vandalism. The investigators have also sent two summonses to the two suspects, but they always skipped with the excuse of being out of town.
