Jenny Rachman Misses Investigation for Alleged Destruction Case Twice as a Suspect, This is What the Police Say

However, the Chief of Pondok Aren Police Station, Tangerang Selatan, Commissioner Endy Mahandika, and Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, Commissioner Erwin Subekti, emphasized that the case of alleged destruction will still proceed. Therefore, they will reschedule the summons for Jenny Rachman.

"The case (destruction) will still proceed. So far, there is no plan for forced retrieval," said Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, Commissioner Erwin Subekti.

Indeed, some time ago the lawyer team from Johnson Panjaitan & Associates Law Office, Yonathan Andre Baskoro, questioned the follow-up to the handling of the alleged house destruction case committed by Jenny Rachman at her client's house, Alia Karenina.

Yonathan, who is also the legal representative of Supradjarto, expressed his surprise at the stagnation of the case at the Pondok Aren Police Station.

"Well, we also wonder why there is no clarity even after a long absence from the second summons. Even though the suspect's status has been determined since last year. We have also sent a letter to the Pondok Aren Police Station, but there has been no response. What is going on here?" Yonathan said, some time ago.

2. Urging the Police to Uphold the Law

Therefore, Yonathan and his team urge the police to uphold the law and behave professionally in law enforcement efforts.

"For the sake of law and justice in our country," Yonathan emphasized.

As a reminder, Jenny was reported to the Pondok Aren Police Station, South Tangerang, with report number LP/80/K/III/2022/Sek.Aren regarding the alleged destruction case. For the destruction, Jenny Rachman is charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 406 of the Criminal Code for the crime of assault and/or destruction.

3. Twice Absent

In addition to Jenny, Rita Rachman was also reported because she accompanied her sister at that time. Investigators sent a summons for Jenny's examination as a suspect on September 26, 2022. At that time, Jenny requested a postponement until October 5, 2022.

On the chosen date, Jenny Rachman and her sister were allegedly absent from the examination. Eventually, through her lawyer, she requested restorative justice.

The second summons was sent by investigators on June 8, 2023. However, a day before the examination, Jenny Rachman's lawyer sent a letter requesting a two-week postponement because his client was out of town.

However, in Jenny's Instagram social media post, it was known that she was in Jakarta. She was having lunch at The Sofia restaurant on Gunawarman Street, Jakarta.
