Jessica Iskandar and Richard Kyle's Wedding Reception Officially Postponed Due to Corona Virus

Kapanlagi.com - Referring to the government's announcement, Jessica Iskandar and Richard Kyle are forced to postpone their wedding reception which was supposed to be held in 2 cities, Bandung and Bali. They conveyed this announcement through a video uploaded on Jessica Iskandar's personal Instagram account.

In the video, Jessica Iskandar revealed that they have not determined a replacement date for their postponed reception. Sadness is clearly seen on the face of the woman who is familiarly called Jedar while reading the announcement.

"With a heavy heart, we have to announce that we will postpone our reception which was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Bandung and Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Bali until an undecided time," said Jessica Iskandar.

 

1. Reducing Activities

The wedding reception is not the only effort made by the couple Jessica Iskandar and Richard Kyle to help the government's efforts to reduce the spread of this corona virus. Since the recommendation to stay at home was announced, they have started to isolate themselves at home. They also reduce activities that need to be done outside the house, such as shooting, meetings, and interviews.

"For now, our family is trying and getting used to isolating ourselves at home and reducing activities outside the house, except for urgent matters. We are trying to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus by not engaging in activities outside the house, such as shooting, school, meetings, interviews, and other activities," said mother El Barack Alexander.

2. Reasons for Delay

Not only following the government's recommendation, Richard and Jedar admitted that they want to take care of the health and safety of their family and relatives. Although they are sad to postpone the reception, Richard Kyle said that they are still enthusiastic and happy because they are still given safety and health.

"Hopefully in the future we can find a better and more sensible time. We also want to take care of our family and friends. We also don't want to stress other people because of the current situation. This is why we want to postpone. But it's okay, we are still enthusiastic, we are still happy. The important thing is that we are safe and healthy, and we really have to be more cautious," said Richard Kyle.

3. Confirmation from the Event Organizer

The event organizer Weddingku, who is in charge of Jessica Iskandar's reception at Gedong Putih, West Bandung regency, also confirmed the cancellation of the event. Lady from the event organizer also informed that there is no further news on when the reception will be held.

"The wedding is postponed," said Lady when contacted via WhatsApp.
