The Jakarta International Comedy Festival or Jicomfest 2023 is finally held. The event, which features top comedians from both domestic and international scenes, took place for two days at Tennis Indoor Senayan on December 15-16, 2023.
One of the comedians who performed on the first day was Oki Rengga, who was amazed because Jicomfest is the only festival that presents a full comedy event from start to finish.

Oki continued his performance by sharing various experiences during his time in the world of stand-up comedy.
"Jicomfest is awesome, the only event that is full of comedy. I can't imagine if the performers were traditional Javanese horse dancers," said Oki Rengga from the stage of Jicomfest 2023.
"Here, I want to share my stand-up experience, one of which is when I once did stand-up at a four-way traffic light intersection," he continued.
During that moment, Oki, who was performing, suddenly lost his audience due to an accident that occurred in the area where he was performing.
"When there's a collision, I'm in the middle of doing stand-up comedy," said Oki Rengga.
"It's okay if nobody laughs at my jokes, but it's funny that there's no one watching, there are more people watching the collision than my stand-up comedy," he continued.
Certainly, various unique experiences of Oki Rengga during his career as a successful comedian become punchlines that tickle the stomachs of all visitors of Jicomfest 2023. While joking, Oki Rengga said that all the experiences he mentioned on the Jicomfest 2023 stage have indeed happened to him.
