Join Grind Boys with Gofar Hilman, 10 Portraits of Wancoy Admitting to Getting Many Jobs Outside the Podcast

Wancoy admits that not only did his Instagram followers increase and become more well-known by many people. But, he also got a lot of jobs outside of the Grind Boys podcast. Such as being an MC, a brand ambassador, hosting karaoke, and many more.

"Well, there are some sources of income. Maybe not from Grindboys, but from other things. So people become interested in me, doing something with me, that's it. Followers increase," said Wanda at the Jangan Berhenti Nakal (JBN) office, Pejaten area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/4/2024). "Alhamdulillah (there are) jobs. Especially those who congratulate me on my birthday, hahaha," added Wanda.

The father of one didn't expect the Grind Boys podcast to become this big. In fact, at the beginning of the formation of Grind Boys with Gofar Hilman and Rico Lubis, it was just their conversation when they were still studying at SMA 3 Jakarta.

"The beginning of Grind Boys actually came from Gofar's event, previously I had content on JBN (Jangan Berhenti Nakal). Then Gofar might want to have a chat with his high school friends, so I and Rico were invited," said Wanda.

Wanda explained that everything that flows in the Grind Boys podcast is spontaneous. Even without any prepared script before shooting.

"It just flows. So if you pay attention to the Grind Boys content, there is never a script, no opening, no closing," he said.

"So when we're on camera, no one tells us. We just have a normal conversation, it's natural because we've been friends for a long time, so the conversation becomes long," he continued.

In addition to funny and hilarious conversations, the words spoken by Wanda are also eagerly anticipated by his loyal audience. Wanda admitted that he said those funny words to make the conversations in the Grind Boys podcast even more exciting.

"Yes, I do like it when it's lively. In fact, if it's quiet, in my opinion it's like being in a graveyard. For example, people already seem to know. I went on a trip out of town with the kids, and no one wanted to share a room with me because I had to turn on my phone, and I like to debate," he said.

"So my room is always lively and bright. I'm a bit different. Like last time in Japan, coincidentally our videographer shared a room with me. After a week, he said he memorized the content I listened to," he concluded.
