Judge Asks for Complainant Putra Siregar to Be Present After Failing to Attend Hearing

Kapanlagi.com - Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino are back in court for alleged assault charges at the South Jakarta District Court. The agenda for this hearing is to hear testimony from three witnesses presented by the Public Prosecutor.

Unfortunately, Nur Alamsyah, one of the three witnesses who was supposed to attend the hearing, was nowhere to be found until the hearing ended.

1. 4 Witnesses

"There are four witnesses today, namely Nur Alamsyah, Saputra Aditya (Nur Alamsyah's bodyguard), Reza Rabbani (cafe owner), and Satya Cendekia Putra Pratama (Nur Alamsyah's friend). Are they all present?" the Chief Judge asked the Public Prosecutor during the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (30/6).

"Your Honor, Nur Alamsyah is unable to attend due to prior commitments," the Public Prosecutor replied.

Since Nur Alamsyah's testimony as the complainant is deemed important, the Judge asked the Public Prosecutor to arrange for his attendance at the next hearing.

"He (Nur Alamsyah) is a victim witness. He must attend the hearing to provide an explanation," the Chief Judge emphasized.

3. Alleged Beating

As a reminder, Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino were reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police by Nur Alamsyah for alleged beating.

The incident occurred on March 2, 2022, at Kafe Kode, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The case is currently in court and both suspects are in custody at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
