Kapanlagi.com - Abdee Negara has finally been allowed to go home after undergoing intensive treatment due to an autoimmune disorder affecting his kidneys, IgA Nephropathy (IgAN). The Slank guitarist was hospitalized since September 18, 2024, and his condition has now started to improve.
Abdee has returned to perform with Slank in a concert in Jakarta. Although Abdee has returned to the stage, Slank's vocalist, Kaka, revealed that he did not have the chance to visit Abdee while he was in the hospital.
"At that time, I honestly didn't come. I didn't see him directly; if I were asked to visit him in the hospital, I wouldn't dare. I said I wouldn't visit," said Kaka when met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (27/11/2024).

Kaka admitted that he couldn't bear to see his friend and bandmate in a weak condition. He and his wife chose to send prayers from home as a form of support.
"I’m just lazy to meet someone who is powerless. I just can’t bear it. That’s why my wife and I decided to just pray, let’s pray from home," he expressed.

Not only praying by themselves, Kaka also encouraged his fans, Slankers across Indonesia, to join in praying for Abdee's recovery. He believes that the more people pray, the greater the hope for healing.
"That’s why my wife and I finally said, let’s just pray. Prayers can reach from any corner, right? If I were asked to visit, I wouldn’t be able to, so let’s just pray," he said.

Kaka added that he has initiated joint prayers twice, which were then followed by Slankers from various regions.
"I managed to hold prayers twice. All Slankers in Indonesia also apparently joined in at the same time. Thank God, the more people pray, the faster the prayers go up," he said.

Abdee, who is now starting to recover, is expected to perform at Slank's anniversary concert in January 2025. His presence is believed to be a very special and awaited moment for the Slankers.
"Playing, God willing. He's okay now, it's going to be fun," concluded Kaka.
