Kaka Slank's fashion style has never changed since the old days, still characterized by tank tops and ripped pants. However, who would have thought that behind his iconic appearance, Kaka is very fond of hunting for second-hand clothes or thrifting.

Kaka admitted that he doesn't feel the need to dig deep into his pockets for his appearance. For him, comfort is the main thing, and thrifting clothes provide a unique satisfaction for his fashion taste.

"I actually feel comfortable. I'm currently into thrifting. No, under a million.
The price is hundreds of thousands. I really like wearing thrifting clothes," said Kaka when met at Potlot, South Jakarta, Friday (5/6/2026).

The man who now resides in Bogor even has a favorite spot for hunting second-hand clothes. He often visits one of the shopping centers in Bogor to find clothes that match his character.

"I have a thrifting place in Bogor at BTM Mall. BTM Plaza or BTM Mall is next to the Botanical Garden. It's down there," said Kaka.

Besides tank tops, ripped pants have also become Kaka's identity since the beginning of his career with Slank.

He explained that the pants are naturally ripped because he is very active while doing activities. "Yes, they are really ripped because I was active earlier," he said.

There was an unusual sight when Kaka showed up at the Slank headquarters this time, as he was seen wearing shoes. Usually, Kaka is more often seen casually wearing sandals on various occasions.

It turns out there is a funny reason behind wearing those shoes. Kaka admitted he was 'forced' by his wife to look more neat because she wanted to accompany him out.

"My wife told me to. I went out with my wife, she wanted to join me if I wore shoes. It was really difficult," he concluded.
